This is my final journal entry! Heading on the long trek home! A 6.5hour flight to LA then another 12 hours on to Brisbane then another 2 hours home to Melbourne! Travelled on my final train for this trip today! From Niagara Falls, NY to New York City! It was the first really long train trip we've had to do in regular coach class and I must say it was very nice and comfortable. On the train to niagara falls. The train is very busy. We got on about 15mins before departure and got the last double seats left in the carriage! Because seat numbers aren't allocated i would recommend arriving 30mins in advance if there are two people wanting to sit together.

Our three night train journey has almost come to an end. We have travelled past alps, prairies and forests and soon in the city of toronto. The cabins are comfy and spacious, the staff friendly and efficient and the food fresh and delicious. I would definitely use this train again!

On the canadian travelling across canada.we are in manitoba province right now. Saw a bear last night just sitting by the tracks watching the train. So cute.

Driving to jasper today. We left it too late to organise a bus.i would definitely recommend doing that in advance. Staying in banff has been fabulous it is such a picturesque little town. You can actually see wild elk (like deer) wandering the streets.
